Sam T. Vang

MSN, FNP-CFamily Nurse Practitioner

Founder & Creative Director, ScrubsAndScrolls

I grew up in Visalia, where my family received care at the clinic where I now practice. My mother worked there, too. Today, some of the people who once cared for us are my colleagues. That full-circle connection keeps my community at the center of this work.

I know how intimidating health information can feel when the words are unfamiliar and you do not know what to ask. As a clinician, I want people to leave a conversation feeling heard and able to understand what comes next.

I created ScrubsAndScrolls because I have always loved the way illustrated stories and characters stay with us. I bring that passion into health education: turning real questions into stories that make learning clearer, more memorable, and less frightening. Alongside clinical practice, I teach advanced pathophysiology at Fresno Pacific University and am pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Fresno State.
